My name is Suzanne, and I am a lifelong serial obsessive (if such a term exists) with a focus on the needle arts. It would appear that I tend to focus intensely on any given discipline for about 4 years, and then move on to the next one. As a result, I am proficient at seed bead weaving and embroidery, general beadwork, crochet, knitting (both garments and lace), and I clandestinely work at becoming a skilled tatter. I have also dabbled in tapestry weaving and lampworking, but would not claim to be proficient at either.
The purpose of this blog is to share photos of my work, and any useful tips or tricks that I may have picked up along the way.
The lace in the header is Mary Konior’s ‘Chain Reaction’, from Tatting with Visual Patterns, in size 20 Pensacola Beach HDT from Lady Shuttlemaker.
Thank you for your visit. I hope you enjoyed it.

Thank you for this tutorial. I quickly saw Mimi demo this in Spokane but didn’t “get it”. Now I do! Karen

Hi Suzanne
I was browsing the Ravelry sight and saw some tatting.
I see that you have not been knitting for awhile. Am wondering if you have any dyed sock yarn which I can swap with you. I make my own HDT which you can view here: http://www.concerningzarina.com/Hand_Dyed_Threads/index.htm
